The introduced 'South East Asian Gecko' is seen around the
outside and inside of buildings in the tropics of Australia.

It's call
is a series of high pitched 'tch,tchk,tchk,tch', like little knocking.

Geckos are a family of mainly
nocturnal lizards

They have
long limbs and large eyes.
-
Most of the native species are
very cryptic species and the most commonly seen gecko is an introduced
species.
