Jelly fungus
-
One of the more distinctive groups
is the 'Jelly fungus', included in the Tremellales and Auriculariales groups.

As
the common name suggests they are usually soft and wobbly like jelly.
-
They often
grow hanging from standing trees or on logs, and many are known to be edible.
